Alisa, Rémi and Uldana complete their Masters

Congratulations Alisa, Remi and Uldana for successfully completing your Masters with flying colours!

Alisa, Remi and Dana joined us in early 2024 to pursue their Masters internship. Alisa joined us from the Medical University of Vienna, pursuing her Masters in Molecular Precision Medicine; Remi joined us from Ecole normale supérieure, Paris where he pursued his Masters degree; and Dana joined us from Université Grenoble Alpes, pursuing her Masters in Biomedical Engineering.

At the Sdelci Lab, they partook in three very different projects. Alisa focused on the role of metabolic enzyme IMPDH2 in the nucleus. Remi studied how mechanical stress can induce nuclear metabolism changes to help cells maintain fitness. And, Dana explored the adaptations in pancreatic cancer cells with their dependence on KRas-downstream signalling is perturbed.

They have all recently, and very successfully defended their Masters theses! The Sdelci Lab family congratulates them all, and wishes them a very prosperous future.
