Júlia Urgel forms a part of ASEICA, for which previously she has presented videos to disseminate her research in the field of cancer. Moreover, she has been very vocal on Twitter, and actively promoted the idea of scientific research to students. This is indeed commendable work! Recently, ASEICA and the Merck Salud Foundation recognized the work of 40 female researchers and among them was our Júlia! 

We should also note that Ana Janic, our close collaborator from UPF, and Julia’s co-supervisor has also been featured among these amazing women!
