Matilda Pfeiffer joins our lab as a new PhD student!

Matilda graduated in Biology at the Ludwig-Maximilian University in Munich, Germany in 2020 and specialized in Neuro- and Behavioral Sciences with a Master’s degree at the Universität Leipzig, Germany in 2022. During the Master’s, she joined the Immunometabolism and Inflammation lab at the Centro de Biología Molecular and the Universidad Autónoma de Madrid, Spain for an internship. In her intention to explore the boundaries between Arts and Science, in 2021 she was awarded the “Bayern Innovative“ grant to compose music and analyze its effects on the immune system. In 2023 she obtained the PROMOS scholarship and worked for the “Foundation for Science”, Buenos Aires, Argentina, an initiative that aims to divulge science using music as the narrative of the talk. Now she joins our lab as La Caixa PhD fellow.
